Dave Probert, President of The Galactic Alliance

Galactic Alliance President Probert came to power after winning the last election by default when all of the other candidates disappeared under mysterious circumstances. That was 12 years ago and every election date since has been cancelled due to inclement weather.

In the meantime, President Probert has sent his Galactic Alliance Cinematic Police Force to the farthest reaches of the cosmos to seek out planets still operating with the archaic 'Academy Awards' system and so producing endless adaptations, sequels and remakes, and destroy them.
